    On this site, there is a well-known picture of Mr. Wilde standing alonside Capt. Smith. Wilde's blouse has two rows of four buttons. Smith's has two rows of five buttons. In the U.S. Navy, at least, all officers' blouses have the same number of buttons. What does this mean?
