I watched this this evening. As best I can tell it first aired in 2019. It was actually better than I was expecting. Learned a few things I didn't know mostly dealing with maritime law. I've never met Dr. Ballard other than seeing him speak at the 2012 events in Belfast. I would like to ask him...
Been hearing murmurs about a dive to the wreck site having been done in secret last weekend. It's on White Stars, Black Sea and appears to be confirmed on Parks Stephenson's facebook. Official announcement soon supposidly. Anyone else heard anything? Thoughts? Feelings? Excitement?
I was recently checking out the new Titanic photos, and watching some of the preview videos on the NatGeo website and decided to check out the store. I came across a photo, purportedly of the Titanic and signed by Milvina Dean. I was quite surprised to find that not only was the photo actually...
A black actor is portraying 2nd class passenger Joseph Laroche on National Geographic Channel. Joseph Laroche wasn't featured in the 1997 Titanic movie.

Was looking on Amazon.com for Titanic documentaries and found the "Titanic Untold" documentary that was on National Geographic last month is being released on DVD on February 15th.
I thought this would be released with the "Return to Titanic" special that was shown in June last year as a sort...
All UK viewers, National Geographic will be dedicating most of their New Year's Day schedule to Titanic. Expect a wide variation of documentaries throughout the day.

Charlie Haas, co-author with Jack Eaton of a number of well-respected Titanic books and advisor to numerous expeditions to the wreck, wrote the following message to fellow members of the Marine Forensic Panel in regard to the 2004 National Geographic expedition and subsequent publicity. The...
Since we in the UK are still waiting for Ballard's diatribe in the latest NatGeo, I saw an NG special - "The best of 2004", and yes a few of Ballard's 2004 images are in there - the bow mosaic, shoes, floor tiles...and a photo of the captain's bath where he places the blame on the collapse of...
The December issue of National Geographic magazine is out, and on page 96, is Dr Ballard's surprisingly short artcle "Grave Site Or Gold Mine?" can be found.
Visually the article is impressive, with a large foldout of the new wreck mosaic, but all the photos in the article are to be found in...

I was literally knocked out of my chair by tonight's showing of National Geographic's "Mysteries of the Deep: Titanic's Doomed Sister," which showed footage from the 2003 Britannic expedition.
An intact multiple tuner in the Marconi Room and a swim down the Fireman's Passage to the open...
Would anyone know where I could find copies of the National Geographic magazines with Titanic in them. I am especially looking for one dated December 1985. Willing to pay for them, just need ideas where to find them. You can contact me by email at nataliegleason2003@hotmail.com or post a...
The latest issue of NG features the hunt for PT-109. A wonderful, bird's eye map accompanies the scene of KENNEDY'S heroism. However, the wreck photos, a whopping three featured therin are dismal, it is the re-telling of the heroic event, coupled with a contribution by the younger brother TED...
