Hi, my name is Gina Arens & I am trying to find any information about a Mr. Walter Ennis who was a Turkish bath attendant. My family name is Ennis & after extensive geneology efforts I have reason to believe Walter could be part of my 'family tree'.
I understand he died in the sinking & his body was never identified; I'm hoping someone might have some information about him.

WALT ENNIS WAS MY GRANDMOTHERS COUSIN HE WORKED PREVIOUSLY AT THE GLOSSOP ROAD BATHS IN SHEFFIELD WE THOUGHT HE HAD SURVIVED AS WE FOUND A CLIP IN THE SHEFFIELD STAR SAYING HE WAS A SURVIVER.WE WOULD BE INTERESTED TO HEAR FROM ANY RELATIVES IF THEY ANYTHING ELSE.

I was reading this bit of Ininformshon with my nanny. Walter ennis was my great great Granddad. She said it was incerect and he had 4 children and it was her Granddad.He worked in the Turkish bathes.

So it seems. The Titanic Relief Fund Mansion House booklet of March 1913 names the Dependants as widow, Mary and 4 children. - Annie, Doris, Christine and Violet.
