Did Emily Goldsmith return the ring

I was wondering, Did Mrs. Goldsmith return the wedding ring to Thomas Theobolds (sp?) wife like he asked? I know she is pictured with the ring in a photo with her son soon after the sinking.

I believe she returned the ring that summer [1912] I am not sure but i think that was the first of their return trips to England .
