I just remembered that one time I stayed up analysing the Titanic plans instead of sleeping (we have all been there right
and I noticed that there are big bold letters denoting some kind of section. These are of course the watertight sections of cabins, dining saloon and open space of the 3rd class.
The letters are from A-S and follow the length of the ship and not the decks wich I think is another way they just make things more complicated for the sake of it.
The problem, and the reason this kept me up, is that the letters I,L and P are missing. (!!!)
Does anyone have any explanation or theory why this is?
