Captain's Table

Hi, I didn't know where else to post this so it's just here now. I know there was a captain's table in which the captain dined at and socialized. But where was it? I assume it was somewhere in the 1st class dining room, but does anybody know where it was? Like in the middle or near the corner? Sorry if that seems like a stupid question.

He sat at a small table in the dining room where he often took meals with favorite first class passengers after the ship was at sea and when there were no bad weather conditions.
Gary Cooper tells about him being a favorite host among noted first class passengers. He was well educated and knew how to be a good conversationalist and matchmaker. He knew how to handle people who were inclined to praise him too much or who had their complaints about the ship. He told them stories about his days at sea on sailing ships etc.
