My great granfather's brother Also listed under Olympic ( sister ship of Titanic) and Fireman They sailed from Belfast to Southampton. A argument over pay ensued at Southampton . He was sacked and came home to Belfast to his wife and 9 children… Lucky..

I hope this message finds you after all these years
John Boal was my great grandad on my nans side. I believe he had three daughters Margaret (my Nan) Sarah and Ellen. I was told by my mum that the reason he left the titanic at Southampton was because he received a telegram informing him that his daughter Ellen was seriously ill with tuberculosis
I was wondering if you have any more details on any other relatives in the family
