Thomas Gould : RMS Carpathia Boilermaker

In April 1912 Gould served as a boilermaker on the eastward voyage of Carpathia when that ship rescued the survivors of the Titanic disaster.

I would love to know where this photo came from. Tom Gould was my Grandfather on my Father's side. I know little about him. He was born in 1885 in Kirkdale. Tom was one of two "boilermakers" on the RMS Carpathia when she went to the rescue of the survivors of the Titanic in 1912. Tom is mentioned on page 205 of Alan Scarth's book "Titanic and Liverpool" as attending a showing of the film "A Night to Remember" at the Odeon cinema in Liverpool in 1958. Tom died in Liverpool in 1968 aged 82. Rod Gould
