William Arthur Lobb was born 1881 Luxulyon, Cornwall, and was the son of George Lobb and Caroline (nee) Clark. Caroline had been married previously to James Stephens, but by 1871 she was a widow with 3 children - Anne (6) Bessie (5) & Albert (3). Caroline married George Lobb April qtr 1874 and they had Frederick George b 1874 - Emigrated to Utah via Australia 1902. d1922 Utah, USA. Thomas Henry b. 1877. Charles Jethro b. 1879 Emigrated to Utah 1902 via Australia, and Married Ethel Smart. William Arthur b. 1881 - 1912 Titanic. Coleman James b. 1884 d. Utah. Mildred Adeline b. 1887. On the 1911 census George aged 60 and Caroline aged 64 were living in Bugle, St. Austell, Cornwall. George's Occupation was Clay Labourer, and they had been married 37 years. Having had 9 children. 7 were living at the time of the census, 2 having died, who probably may have died at birth or shortly after, as, as yet I have not come across any records.Probate: William Arthur Lobb of Bugle, St. Austell, Cornwall - Engine Driver died 14 April 1912.
