I am trying to determine the exact relationship of my family to CHL. We know there is a relationship, as my
grandmother met him when she was a child, and could recall sitting listening to his stories (and referred to him
as "Uncle Charlie" or something similar).
She was born in 1915 in Yorkshire, and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Lightowler (born 1890 in County Durham).
Mary's father was Richard Lightowler.
The family moved to Western Australia in about 1923/24, and I am not sure if my grandmother met him in England
or in Australia.
If anyone has any suggestions about where to find more detailed information about the family tree, it would be
greatly appreciated!
