Branko was my great-great uncle. He lived in Yugoslavia and was traveling to the US to stay with my great-grandmother, his sister. She owned a tavern in Milwaukee, WI and saved up to send for him. She traveled to NY to wait for him. My grandfather was named for Branko and he and my grandmother had 13 children and I am one of 32 grandchildren.

Branko Dakic was my grandfather's brother. My father, Branko, was named after him. I also have a picture of Branko Dakic, who died on the Titanic, as well as pictures of his father, Zivan Dakic. I am Goran Dakic, and I live in Novi Sad, in Serbia, former Yugoslavia. My e-mail is [email protected]
