Constance Miriam West

[Anthony Kevin Sheils]

I was a pupil at the school in which this lady worked. She retired in 1960 or thereabouts, and is reported to have died in 1963. Her younger sister is said to be still alive and perhaps a brother.

Will anyone who knew this lady please supply further details. She survived the Titanic disaster at the age of 4 or 5, with her pregnant mother and baby sister.

Her biography on this site has some good information on her--she suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for years before her death. The only thing I have on her specifically which isn't already on this site is her birth certificate. It is true that her sister Barbara is still living at the age of 89. But she shuns publicity of any sort or involvement with anything to do with Titanic.
