Hello, I was wondering if its true that there's no evidence left of Titanic's aft staircase? I saw Historic Travels video on this and I find it hard to believe. Surly there must have been some piece of the clock or dome etc. left.

Thanks, Darius

Hello Darius,

Very little remains of the aft grand staircase. Some frame work does still exist in the debris field, but that's it. Don't forget, the staircase was just immediately aft of where she broke apart. Anything that was made of wood, was eaten long ago by the wood boring organisms.

The clock and other fixtures were more than likely destroyed, during the violent breakup.
