Poor girl. Yet another young Scandinavian woman from Third Class who died in the disaster. Elin Braf, Elin Petterson, Jenny Henriksson etc were other examples. Martta Hiltunen also died in the disaster but she was one of the few Scandinavians travelling in Second Class and one of the 12 Second Class women who did not make it.
Interestingly, Elin Braf's roommate Helmina Nilsson, a woman with less travelling experience than Elin, survived on Lifeboat #13.
