My dad told me that this Kate was supposedly his great aunt, on thru his dad. I do know there are "Conley" in my dad's tree. He said the name was misspelled on immigration and they left it. Not sure. They are in Canada. I've yet to do research on the family to see if this is true. What a story if it is.
