After finding about what ocean liner was in this exact same Titanic newsreel, but filmed stern first, this one with a Cunard Line's Lusitania is one of the easiest.
Well, sort of.
While it's easy to notice that the Lusitania's deck which is the same height as the base of her funnels and her brown vents, there's one important area in this snapshot that's still not confirmed or its hard to see due to this film from British Pathé not being remastered to high resolution- the place this was filmed.
However, the same reel was indeed remastered for A Night to Remember home release and every detail can be seen, but with a more clearer picture. I, unfortunately, don't have it at hand, so I used this screencapture from Scenes from A Night to Remember channel on YouTube.
Something that has been in my mind and it's this; could this be Liverpool? I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this topic.
