Not sure if this photograph has been sent in previously.It is of a memorial to Rev Ernest Carter who travelled on the Titanic and was lost in the sinking. Beesley's book mentions him a number of times,particularly the account of him organising a hymn singing session on the Sunday evening. Rev Carter was the vicar of St Jude's, Whitechapel. The memorial was placed in St Jude's after his death. When the church was demolished it was installed in the church at Longcot,near Swindon,where Mrs Carter had strong family connections.
