No/ only 1 Olympic class [or larger than Mauretania] liner for White Star constructed from the keel

Now, to compete with Cunard's 1907 express steamers [Lusitania and Mauretania], could White Star Line build only one Olympic class or larger sized [equal to or above Olympic's grt] ocean liner for the competition? [Assuming the ship had a similar career as the actual Olympic until 1 January 1916 at least, which means no loss in commercial or early military service.]

With only one White Star liner larger than Mauretania [or none] built starting from the keel in the first place, how would Cunard and Hapag react? What about RMS Aquitania's and the ex German RMS Majestic's design and existence?

The key difference is only one White Star liner larger than Mauretania constructed from the keel up and afloat until at least 1 January 1916. No Titanic and Britannic or equivalents constructed at all, not even with keel laying for them, the steel for their [Titanic and Britannic] hulls goes to non White Star ships or White Star ships smaller than Mauretania [31938 grt] in size.

Is this possible? [Olympic would still be constructed, just Olympic only among White Star ships, with Olympic being the only completed White Star liner larger than Mauretania from 1907 until 1 January 1915, and it would need to have a similar career to its real life counterpart [which means staying afloat] until military service requisition and at least 1 January 1916.] [This version of Olympic would be the only completed White Star liner larger than Mauretania from 1907 until 1 January 1915 and would stay afloat until 1916 at least, with its loss while still in military service until WW1 ends.]

In this scenario, with only one Olympic class ship, would the RMS Aquitania and Majestic [ex-Bismarck] still exist or how would Cunard and Hapag react?
