Possible relative on the Titanic

Can someone help me, i don't know if anyone know the famous kelly family, singers, very famous in europe, especially germany. Now there are some rumours going around that their father is related too one of the titanic passengers, i don't know if it's true, the passenger's name should be something like kelly kelley of o'kelley, can someone offer me tips how to find out if this is true?! thanks already

Hello Sonja,

The best way to find out is to go through the family tree and backtrack. Get as much information as you can, such as birth and marriage certificates. Those documents will take you back another generation and as far as you want to go.

With regards to the passengers that were on board, there were people that had the surname 'Kelly', but there were no 'Kelley's' or 'O'Kelley's'.
