Here is a recent CNN article about one of the Roman ships found off the Coast of Spain, in an area easily accessible by divers:

This ship was located several years ago, but a well-financed expedition was conducted last July, and its results are now being published.

I'm moderately sure I saw some footage of this wreck a few years ago, as I remember the rows of amphorae and the fact that it was so accessible - big mistake to mention that really. I see some amphorae held the remains of roman fish sauce. You may be interested in the recipe - from Apicius - whose cookery book I have, but have never quite managed to get to grips with, largely because of the ubiquitous fish sauce..

I've used Thai fish sauce, which for all I know is made in a similarly revolting way, but then I don't have to make it myself.
