I know that some passengers and crew - the Allisons, Lowe, Pitman etc - slept through the collision and the immediate aftermath but were awake or woken soon afterwards. There have been claims and mentions of others, mostly passengers, who went on sleeping for quite a while afterwards despite the bow dipping and the list. But realistically, I wonder what could be the latest time even the heaviest of sleepers was forced (by the circumstances, not a third party) awake? Is there any circumstantial evidence to this?
