Revisiting whether the Californian had a lookout after she stopped.
At the US Hearing, Senator Fletcher asked Capt. Lord about the lookouts he kept on after the engines were stopped: Lord said: "We discontinued the one on the forecastle head. We just kept the on one the crow's nest."
So why, as I've asked before, was he not called as a witness in either inquiry?
