First off let me introduce myself as I am new here. I have perused this site on many occasions and thought it might help me on my next endeavour.
I am an avid maritime fan and artist. I enjoy ships of all type and am currently finishing a scale drawing of Captain Sir Edward Pellews famous frigate, HMS Indefatigable. Before that I did a scale drawing of the RMS Majestic (1922).
As I turn my attention to my next work I am interested in doing a scale rendering of the RMS Berengaria. I have always been interested in the Balin Liners as it seems they don't get much attention. Popular in their time, they are largely forgotten today.
My question is this: In J Kent Laytons excellent book "Edwardian Superliners" there is a general arrangement plan of the Imperator on page 290. I have searched the internet high and low for these plans and have turned up nothing. Does anyone know where I can find a scale copy of these plans either for download or for sale?
