Did any of you get a chance to attend the S.S.U.S. get together at the L.A. Maritime Museum on the 16 of Nov. Jim Green, who was a purser on-board S.S.U.S. was to have shared *home movies*...what a treat that must have been...
Later that night a gathering at the QUEEN MARY, and unveiling of a new book, from my understanding an offering on a limited basis. Co-author Westover was on-hand for book signing. BTW, the book entitled "S.S. UNITED STATES, The Fastest Ship in the World" was co-authored by the great Frank O'Braynard!
Hope I can obtain a personal copy.
