Does anyone know if there was a specific staff entrance that staff would use instead of passenger entrances? It's such a minor detail but it's been aggravating me. And if so, were there like specific entrances that staff used? One for, say, the officers or the people who worked in the boiler room?

Hello Doe, as is still the case today on Cunard's ships the movement of passengers and crew were kept apart unless the crew are senior or are there to serve the passengers. Crew joining the ship will in the main board well before the passengers arrive to prepare the ship for sail. I suspect crew will have boarded through entrances closest to their place of report and in keeping with their rank so those in the engine room would have boarded low down in the ship, possibly through the steerage entrance with senior Officers boarding on the higher decks once again well before passengers. I understand there was no staff entrace per se although im happy to be corrected.
