A woman who survived the Titanic went on to live in a pub in a Hampshire village with her husband.
Charlotte Tate was born in 1881, and was the eldest daughter to parents Allen Tate and Louisa Townsend. The family lived in Cobham in Surrey and ten years later the family had moved to Leatherhead.
