What I'd like to know if Lawrence Beesley's description of the Library Steward - "thin, stooping and sad faced" - fits Thomas Kelland? AFAIK, there are no known pictures of the young man.

Although the 1911 Census has 1894 as Thomas Kelland's birth date, his birth certificate was registered in 1892 as correctly recorded in this article.
