Titanic metal question. I was given some metal from a wealthy elderly couple and was told it was from the titanic. Anyone know how I can verify ? And what it may be worth ? I have about 1/4 of a plastic sandwich baggie full

Without some form of "provenance" such as a certificate or other proof, you have a small amount of metal. Steel? Copper? What sort of weight? Depending on the size of the sandwich bag, you're going to have trouble figuring out its history!
