Hello all,

Does anyone know the size of the Turkish Baths complex (i.e., the room size like the shampooing room) for I can't seem to find anything online about this

If anyone knows or has any ideas don't be hesitant

Many thanks,

I have but they don’t show the size of each room but I’ll have another check
Edit:
They don’t show the actual size of the rooms, they do show how big the portholes are

Hello,

Turkish Baths are located on F-Deck, between frame 21F and 42F.

Using the Spacing and Identification of frames on the F-deck plan, you can easily find the size of the Turkish Baths rooms knowing that :

Midship center of the hull is located between frames numbered 1F and 1A ( A = Aft , F = Forward)

The particulars of the frame spacing is as follows :

156 to 134 Forward : 24in
134 to 119 Forward : 27in
119 to 107 Forward : 30in
107 to 95 Forward : 33in
95 Forward to amidships : 36in

amidships to 111 Aft : 36in
111 to 121 Aft : 33in
121 to 133 Aft : 30in
133 to 148 Aft : 27in

Do you have the exact sizes of the rooms?

No, I did'nt have exact sizes of the Turkish Baths.

But it's easy for you to find them, as well as for any other room of the ship.

Using the F-Deck Plan, make a Print of the area including the Turkish Baths and the frames coordinates between frame 21F and 42F

Frame spacing beetween 21F and 42F is equal to 36in

So the distance between 21T to 42 F equal (42-21 +1) * 36 in = 792in

Now on your Print you have just to mesure the distance between frame 21F and 42F and calculate the scale ratio.

Then you can mesure any other dimension of the Turkisch baths on your Print and apply the scale factor to it to find the right size.

If you are using a CAD System, you can also import the same picture area in your CAD system, and scale the picture based on the knowned distance between frame 21F and 42F.

And then, in such way you can mesure any other dimensions you want.
