Dear @Brian R. Peterson I was really impressed by your very sophisticated explanation of the Titanic's telemotor. There is one expression, though, that puzzles me a bit as I couldn't find an appropriate translation in a German dictionary. The expression "equal positive control" seems to be very simple, but I might have got a wrong idea about this term. I'd appreciate it if you could rephrase or simplify the function as stated above.
