Hello, what the difference between the Third Class smoke room and Third Class General Room? Was one for men and other for women?

Hello, what the difference between the Third Class smoke room and Third Class General Room? Was one for men and other for women?

The Third Class General Room was a gathering place for the large number of third class passengers. It was located on the starboard side of the ship and served as a lounge and recreational area. While the Third Class Smoke Room was adjacent to the General Room on the port side of the vessel and was for men only.
