I was watching the film "The Legend of Tarzan" the other day and during a early scene in the movie, The White Star Line ship SS Britannic (1874) is referenced in the "ledger" as being used by Tarzan and Co. to sail from Liverpool to Africa.
(Sorry if the photos are a bit big and / or of poor quality.)
While this reference isn't very accurate (The Britannic never went to Africa, the ship doesn't look like her etc) it's interesting to see the White Star actually seen in a film instead of a fictional company.
Has anyone seen this or any other references to the White Star Line in other films? Just curious.
