World War 1

Yep. I can't provide a comprehensive listing until tonight (NYC time), but just off the top of my head, I know that Adriatic II, Cymric, Arabic II and Lapland (transferred from Red Star when Antwerp was occupied) remained on the North Atlantic service, and all or most of the ships in the Australian and New Zealand services remained on their customary routes during the war. Some were under the direction of the British Shipping Controller and many carried troops or military supplies to England, but White Star was able to maintain all of its pre-war services (albeit at a much-reduced level) throughout the war.
