SOS TITANIC

Le capitaine du Carpathia a posté des vigies à l’avant, avec mission de guetter les glaces à la dérive, ou le moindre signe du Titanic. Tout paraît tranquille, trop tranquille. Comment imaginer qu’à quelques milles d’ici un navire aussi énorme soit en perdition ?”

The captain of the Carpathia has posted lookouts at the bow , with the mission of watching for drifting ice, or the slightest sign of the Titanic. Everything seems quiet, too quiet. How can we imagine that a few miles from here such an enormous ship is in distress?”
