Titanic on Screen

TITANIC ON SCREEN: A Beginner’s Guide to the Titanic Disaster in Movies, Documentaries, Television & News Reels documents the many films and documentaries released for the big and small screen; from the early days of the liner’s construction for news reels to Hollywood blockbusters, television and home entertainment.

Each chapter covers the release and its year, starting from 1909, through the decades of war, the glitz and glamour of the 1950s; the swinging 60s; technicolour 70s; retro 80s; computer generated 90s; the new millennium; and to conclude with the 2020s.

Each entry includes production details (movie, television, news reel), release format, year of release, production companies and a brief synopsis of content.

While this is not a full guide of everything ever put to print, it is comprehensive and serves well as an introduction in searching, viewing and building a library be it for home or archive on the legacy of Titanic that also includes her two sisters; Olympic and Britannic.

My brand-new book TITANIC ON SCREEN: A BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO THE TITANIC DISASTER IN MOVIES, TELEVSION, DOCUMENTARIES & NEWS REELS is now available. The book is the first that covers the Titanic disaster on film, in documentaries, television and news reels while in a guide format. It is a compilation, decade by decade, presented as a list with production details and more. I designed the book to be a beginner’s guide to tracking down releases on the subject. But you don't have to be new to Titanica as the book is also for Titanic enthusiasts of all ages. Packed full of info, easy to follow chapters and lots of images, Titanic on Screen is an all-in-one volume of the Titanic disaster on film.
The book has been released in both hardback and paperback. So, if you are a collector of hardbacks over paperbacks, or visa-versa, I got you covered.

Please note: this book is self-published and, currently, not available through any book stores or retailers. The book is available directly from the printers who also ship it out to you (shipping is extra). To order, go to the following links below. No matter if you are in the U.S, Australia or Europe, Blurb printers can accommodate the orders. So if you order through www.blurb.com or www.blurb.co.uk, upon completing the order and including your shipping details, Blurb will dispatch from their printing company closest to you.
