UNIONTOWN, Pa., April 16. – James Smith, of Uniontown and Morgantown, W. Va., today is on his way to New York following word that his brother, Lucien Smith, and the latter’s bride of two months perished in the wreck of the Titanic.

Lucien Smith was married Feb. 7 to Miss Eloise Hughes, daughter of Congressman James Hughes, of West Virginia. A tour of Europe followed. The couple took passage home on the ill-fated steamer Titanic.
