S.S. TITANIC SURVIVORS

To the Editor of the “Southern Daily Echo”.

Sir, - Cannot something be done to assist the survivors of the crew of the S.S. Titanic? Surely these men, who so bravely did their duty on that sad night, and who lost all their belongings, deserve some little recompense, many of them not being able going to sea now, as they have no kit. Could not a fund be stated to help them, as, in my opinion, they seem to be absolutely forgotten.

A SYMPATHISER.
