Thomas Mayzes

Has any one heard of Mrs. Mayze before?

I found on one of the old Mansion House directives the name of this woman classified as a survivor. The document can be viewed at Southampton Archives under the date of the 12th of April 1929. She was eventually award a small sum of £20.00 towards her expenses. Miss Newman (Lady Visitor) was authorised to make the payment.

She's a pest as well a nuisance as I cannot find anything relating to her. Does anyone else know much about her background life?

I found a bio for a fireman/stoker named Thomas Mayzes at https://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/titanic-biography/thomas-mayzes.html Perhaps she was his wife, but I don't know. The catch is, this guy survived.
