Here's something I found interesting. Maritime Matters reports that in the Spring of 2006, Celebrity Cruises' Century will go into dry dock and have 314 balconies added on to her.
I've been on Century once before and will be on board again in this coming December. I plan on getting as many shots of her exterior and interior as I can. It will certainly be interesting to compare the original exterior with the modified one.
I always thought Century, Mercury and Galaxy some of the best looking ships in the industry. Hopefully these modifications won't make her look more like the Millennium class. While the Millennium was fun, especially the glass elevators, it was a dog-ugly ship on the exterior!
