Harold Bride picture

I don't have the book...now I have to track it down just to see if it IS him!!!!

And make that two freaks...I'd give my left kidney (well, okay, almost) to see a picture of Harold smiling.
Your wish is my command. LOL He's the young chap in the hat. The other gent is his brother Edwin, who married my grandfather's cousin.

I just happened upon this photograph by chance while doing a Google Image Search for the prompt “explain your Twitter username” (it’s keyofmgy). Imagine my delight upon seeing it… then imagine my brain exploding when noticing it was posted in reply to a forum thread I originally posted twenty-one years ago!

Thank you so much, Diane. You’ve made my entire week!

I'm so glad! If you have an Ancestry account, you can view him on my family tree, which is public. My user name is DianeLouiseFarr and it's Farr Family Tree. I believe I have more photos there. Enjoy. :)

*rises from lurk*

Hi everyone--I've got a question...

Does anyone here have a copy of the book 'Titanic In Picture Postcards' by Robert McDougall and Robin Gardiner? There's a picture in it, first posted on page 54, that is labeled as being Harold Bride, but I don't think it looks much like him. However, I'm not a hundred percent sure. Does anyone here know for certain?

Whoever it is, he's *almost* smiling... so it's a start. View attachment 28662

*that odd freak who'd shell out major clams to see a picture of a smiling Harold Bride*
Major Clams, eh? I think my father-in-law served under him in World War II. (ha ha) Glad I was able to provide a smiling Harold without you needing to "shell out." :)

So I've recently re-stumbled on this picture, which I think is Harold Sydney Bride. Does anyone have more information about it?

PS: I found this picture on Internet but now that I try to reverse-find, It doesn't show me anything

Yes, that is Harold Bride. I believe I may be the person who posted this image. I received it from his uncle and put it up on Ancestry.com. -- Oops, no, just checked. None of my images of him have him in this hat.
