King of hops: The legacy of Herman Klaber

Re: King of hops: The legacy of Herman Klaber

Abraham Pepper was not a "spurned lover". The piece neglects a bit of history that the Hops royal family either didn't know or wouldn't mention. Upon information and belief, Mr. Pepper had dated Ms. Danhauser but refused to marry her because she was not Jewish (which, I know, sounds strange because it seems she was Jewish, but this is my understanding). In other words, whatever may have transpired subsequent to their break-up, it was Mr. Pepper who, by his actions/inactions, ended the relationship. I have no quarrel with the rest of the piece. He did kill her.
