Marconi Room Re-Creation

A British lorry ("truck" in Yankspeak) driver from Norfolk has devoted four years and what would seem to be rather a lot of money to re-creating Titanic's Marconi Room.

The result is on exhibition at the Swaffham Museum in Norfolk for the next three months.

The man, Ted Sinclair, has put together period parts and reproduced ones in an effort to re-create the Father Browne photo of the room. I leave judgment on the accuracy of the effort to others who know more than I do, but it's good to see someone making such an effort to have a bit of Titanic on show:
