on a different forum I was dicussing about a movie about the Lusitania starring Russell Crowe as Capt. Turner

It means that the photos are the intellectual property of somebody else, and that you may not use them without the permission of the copyright holder. Basically, if you find a photo in a book, magazine or any sort of print or electronic media, you may presume that it's protected by copyright.

Please be so kind as to click on This Hotlink, carefully read the post I made on this issue last year and follow the links therein. What you learn there will save you a lot of grief later on.

Wesley, the link I posted was to my message concerning copyright issues. The links I have in that post are to websites which discuss copyright law, not forums. Since this is a rather sticky issue, it's a good idea to read what they have to say. What you learn there can help you avoid a lawsuit.
