Prankster tells cruise ship passengers to abandon ship

Last Saturday, apparently, as Carnival's Miracle headed towards New York City. Imagine, hundreds of people gathered on deck in their nightclothes, on the ocean, in the middle of the night, heading for New York, not knowing what the hell was happening...

From the story, it would appear that the clown responsible for this little party wasn't caught. A pity. This sort of wit deserves at least the appropriate reward. Keel hauling would be about right.

This actually raises far more serious concerns. This was a prank, but if some moron can gain access to this particualar portion of the ship, then the somebody with a truely sinister agenda could do far worse.

This room contains other computer equipment that could truely screw things up for awhile. An example is to restrict access to portions of the ship so passengers could not freely move about. But if somebody can gain access to this space, where else can they gain access to with little or no resistance??
