I`m confused. My mom just bought me a new Titanic book-called the Mammooth Book of Titanic by Geoff Tibbals, which has accounts from survivors. Well, Selma Asplund said her children were aged 14, 10, 8, 6, and little baby Felix. However, in ET, their ages are given 13, 9, 5 and 5, and 3. Who is right ? Maybe their birthdates are not right, or on the other hand, someone has recorded the ages of Selma`s 5 children down wrong in the interview. Please reply if you have any suggestions, thanks, Laura.

Hey Laura,
I would say that ET is definatly right. Lillian had a twin and they were born on October 21, 1906 from everything Ive read so they were both 5 when it happened.

Lillian Asplund is alive and living in her home about 30 miles west of Boston. She is bedridden and has a live in health aid. Her mind is sharp, but her body is frail.
