I am particularly interested in the Navratil family, given that the boys' father hailed from Slovakia, which is a former part of my country, and now an independent neighboring country. I wonder what kind of a relationship Mr and Mrs Navratil did have, that the former sort of "kidnapped" the kids to the US. The Stories from the Deep docuseries showed a daughter of one of those saved siblings. I think that Mr Navratil 's reason of going under an alias of Mr Hoffmann and kids Lolo and Louis, was out of fear of his ex wife's reaction, had she found out they traveled to the US.
