More from today, added B-deck painted and weathered, also added more debris over the cargo hold #5. Also made the palm court which has the roof beams drooping in (which im not too sure is accurate but I presume thats what would happen) and elevator section on A-deck Along with boat deck, I still need to create the folded back decks just over the 1st class smoking room, then I need to add the 2nd class entrance.

Echo what others have said here, that looks really good Tom. And Harland the Wayback site worked for me. I use that site a lot to look up old stuff that went away.

So I finished the boat deck 2nd class entrance and added debris and the twisted metal, I also added some more wreckage over the engine roomand where the 1st class smoking room was. I then started work on the twisted hull. Hope you enjoy.

James Cameron did in 2001 according to Ken M. try to explore lots of areas of the stern, for example the Turbine room but Jake and Elwood where too big. The 2005 Bots probably could have gotten into most areas of the stern But Jim assumed it would have collapsed so much by 05 that there would be nothing worthwhile to see.

On Parks site Ken talks about this in depth but from the lights of the Mir 1 & 2 they did think they did see some paint on it still and other intact structures inside the ship through portholes

For the stern to have maintained it's shape by the time it hit the sea floor, the stern would have needed to go down sinking aft and not forward to allow water to flow in and not leave any air bubbles that would compress and implode after the stern sunk to a certain depth.

Not to mention that there were airtight refrigerated sections in the stern. When that air was released, it went ripping through the structure, causing the integrity to fail. When the stern hit the bottom, the sides splayed outward, allowing the decks to just "relax" onto each other and pile up. That was followed by a lot of debris, which just sunk and landed on top. That is why it was so hard, doing the photomosaic, to tell what was going on there. It was just a jumble of "stuff". I stared at those pictures for hours, trying to make sense of them when I was stitching the photos together.
