I'm really at a lost as to what this is. It looks unlike most other things on wreck. No obvious corrosion or marine growth. I'm wondering if it is even part of the Titanic. Something left behind by a submersible or something that drifted down from the surface?

I believe that is the pipe on the forecastle. Ignore that white box, lol.

Because it is a non-ferrous metal.

It should still show some patina or something. Even the manganese-bronze propellers are starting to show a patina.

It just looks so out of place.

It’s the lighting giving everything a bluish cast. Look at the post above by Ian McD. The pipe has a green patina.
