Amongst those lost on the White Star liner Titanic was Mr. Don Campbell, who received his education in Geelong, and was attached subsequently to the local office of Messrs. Huddart, Parker and Co. After several years' clerical work he joined the s.s. Westralia as junior purser, and eventually rose to an important position in that branch of the company's service. He went home two years ago, and on the completion of the Titanic was transferred to her from the Olympic. He is a brother of Mr. Wallace Campbell, formerly of A. and W. Roberts, and now branch manager at Creer's, Horsham.
