Potter Coming from Alaska to Atlantic City to See His Father
---
ATLANTIC CITY, N. J., Oct. 28---For more than a month the family of Col. Thomas Potter, who is dying at his seaside home here, has been searching for his favorite son, Wilson, who has been on a hunting trip to Alaska since last July, to summon him to the bedside of his dying parent. News reached the family to-day that he had been found at White Horse, Alaska. He telegraphed that he has started home, and arrangements have been made for a special train from the Pacific Coast to start as soon as he lands from the boat.
News that his son is homeward bound caused Col. Potter to rally somewhat to-day, and he is buoyed up by the hope that he will live to again see his boy. The journey from Alaska will take about ten days.
Col. Potter, who is very wealthy, is a brother of William Potter, former Minister to Italy and a member of the staff of Gov. Stuart of Pennsylvania.
